A- Dr. Willum loved his job more than he loved Rosa. He wouldn't rick anything for his job, even if it meant lying to El Patron and throwing Rosa under the bus.
A- They wanted to show power over Matt. They also felt mutiny brewing around the other boys and saw them rallying around Matt as a leader, and they wanted to stomp any thoughts from Matt of becoming a leader from forming. Fortunately, their attempts didn't work.
A- Yes. Matt is battling with his inner since of good and innocence and his other side, the El Patron side. The El Patron side is greedy, forceful and malicious. Fortunately, Matt was brought up correctly and his good side wins over his bad side.
A- He was able to withstand the hardships and challenges that he went through because he knew that he was doing what he was doing for the sake of his loved ones, and if he didn't push through all of his challenges, he would never be able to see his loved ones again.
A- At first Matt is sad and felt a little guilty because he had admired El Patron and knew that if it weren't for him, El Patron would still be alive. But then he remembered that El Patron was just using him for spare parts, and Matt then felt relieved and almost happy that El Patron had passed away.
A- Celia becomes angry and snaps at Matt, saying that she isn't his Mom. Celia loves Matt, but knows the true meaning of his existence and doesn't want to get that close to Matt, only to have him taken away from her.
A- Before El Patron died, he told his followers to drink a wine that was made on his date of birth, 150 years ago. At El Patron's funeral, they honour his wishes and drink the wine. What they didn't know was that El Patron had poisoned the wine and when they drank it, they all died.
A- When he was running across the border, one of the Farm Patrol grabbed his backpack, but then Matt unclipped his back pack and was able to get over the border safely. The only problem is that all of his money was in that backpack.
A- Tam Lin did what he did at the funeral because he felt guilty about his past crime and wanted to try to make amends for it. He notified Daft Donald about the drinks because Daft is his friend. He drank the wine because he couldn't live with the pain and guilt of being a murderer for any longer.
